At DoublOne, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use DoublOne services.

    1. Data we collect

When you sign up for DoublOne, we collect the following information:

    1. Email address: Used to create and manage your account.

    2. Name: Only for IMAP users, this is the name you provide when signing up and is used for sending emails on your behalf so you don't have to type in your name everytime you login to DoublOne.

Please note: We do not collect names for Personal Gmail or Google Workspace users.

    2. Data Storage

    User data on your device:

All your personal data, messages, and other information are stored locally on your device.

We have no access to this data.

DoublOne operates on a zero-knowledge principle, meaning we do not and cannot view or retrieve any of your stored data.

    Our access:

The only data we have is your email address and the name you provided during sign-up. This information is stored securely and only used for account management and communications related to your DoublOne account.

    3. Google Workspace Data Handling

All data flows directly between Google Workspace APIs and the DoublOne client application, with no intermediate servers or additional data processing on our side. We do not store, retain, or transmit any user data, including but not limited to names, contacts, emails, or other personal information, on our servers. This ensures that your data remains entirely within your control and is never stored by DoublOne.

DoublOne complies with all relevant privacy laws and Google Workspace's API policies.

    4. AI Features and Data Usage

DoublOne is currently testing a "Reply with AI" feature powered by Google's Gemini API. This feature is still in development and is intentionally restricted for Gmail and Google Workspace users, being available only to our internal team for testing and development purposes. At this stage, external users of IMAP are the only ones who will be able to access this feature after manually enabling it using DoublOne's Command Prompt (Ctrl+K) in the future rollout. IMAP users are free to disable AI features anytime by using the DoublOne's Command Prompt.

Importantly, no user data obtained from Google Workspace APIs is used to develop, improve or train any AI or ML models.

Any future changes regarding the feature’s data usage will be transparently communicated in this privacy policy.

    5. Third-party Services

DoublOne does not share your personal information with any third-party services. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to others unless required by law.

    6. Security

We are committed to ensuring your data is secure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the email and name you provide when signing up.

    7. Your Rights

You can update or delete your account information (email and name) at any time. For any requests regarding your data, please contact us at [email protected].

    8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Please review this policy periodically for any updates.
